Our Fund Raisers
The Templeton Lions Club is actively involved in many different kinds of fund raisers through out the year to raise money for charity. It can range from holding meat raffles to selling many Christmas Trees, working at the Crow Hill M/X Park in the town of Templeton, to holding a golf tournament and oil raffles.
The Templeton Lions Club cares deeply about
both the town and the great residents that live in it. Charity starts with fund raising. The great feeling
that comes from taking part in the process is an extremely rewarding experience for all members. Lions Clubs continue to exemplify these qualities with enthusiasm and zeal.
Donations that are raised from these raffles and many more are vital for making a variety of events happen.
It can range from helping to build a skate board park, to holding an annual haunted house on the town common.Helping the local schools
fund plays and even giving out college scholarships, to something as simple as holding an Easter egg hunt for the little children
of the town, or delivering food baskets for those good people in need. We even
take care of the gazebo on the town common. The positve
aspects of donations through fundraising and charity are endless. These are just a few of the
different things we do in our town to
make it better.
