On Saturday June 19th, 2010, the Templeton Lions Club hosts
its 10th Annual Templewood Golf Classic for Charity. Sign in will be at 8:30 AM and the event will begin at 9:00 AM. All proceeds will go to benifit local charities and various causes, so feel good about paying to play as your money will go to great causes. We will have a chicken dinner after the event is over, along with the announcement of the winners and a raffle prize session. Last year we profited $2,503.00 for charity, and donated $1,100.00 to Templeton Emergency Management for personal training right off of the top in the form of two donations. Here they are, our proud Lions are working at the chairty event to help raise money for so many things, because that is what the Lions do, all over the world, every single day.
After playing 18 holes of golf, it was time to eat and relax, win many of the wonderful raffle prizes, and also enjoy each others company while knowing they helped to raise a lot of money for charity to help others, and had a great time doing it.
