Every Year in the month of December, the Templeton
Lions Club just like many other Lions Clubs both in our
Country and around the
World, provide Food Baskets for those in a time of need. If they have children, they even get toys along with the basket delivery.
The
Templeton Lions Club cares deeply about the role it plays in our Town, and continues to strive to improve both the club, and the
community that it faithfully has
watched over since it was created in the year of 1976.
Above you see our Lions hard at word passing the food around to fill the baskets for delivery. From the left to right you see the
following Templeton Lions - Roland LeClerc, Dennis O'Brien, Don Desmaris, and Doug Young.
Below, you see Lions, Lions spouses, and great volunteers who care about
helping out with the cause at Christmas Time, as they box
and wrap up the toys for children so the Lions can head out to start the delivers. Great job !
Below you see 19 of the 21 Food Baskets that were delivered to families in Templeton. When all was finished, the families got the
Food Baskets, and a full frozen turkey. Along with this, were donated movie passes and toys.
This is just one of many things the Templeton Lions do for the community. If you are interested in helping others, and may want to
join our club, just click on the link on the left side of the page that says " Join Us " and our membership chairman will be more
than happy to answer any questions.
