You do not always hear it,
But trust us it is there,
A call to answer the needs of the many,
All to often average people everywhere.
It is a common call,
That always needs a reply,
You can almost see it written,
Over every Nation, in the sky.
The needs of the many,
Can be a heafty load,
To answer all the calls for help,
Special people seek solutions, going down many roads.
But that it is the question,
Who are these people that you only sometimes see,
Why they are known as Lions !
Folks that look just like you and me.
They look like average people,
Very few seem to know what it is they do,
Often solving problems on a global scale,
Showing many governments a thing, or two.
They understand the concept,
They know that life isn't globally fair,
Here comes the Lions to the rescue,
Just your average everyday heros, found everywhere.
It is the Roar of the Lion !
You may not hear it, you may not see,
It is a Roar that covers the world !
To provide benevolence and charity.
The Roar is just as quiet,
As it can be loud,
It blankets people in 205 countries,
With a loving and caring shroud.
The Roar is the call of so many,
Some 1.3 million loving people strong,
Saving 65 million people from going blind,
A global Fight for Sight, that can and will go on.
So when you hear the Roar of the Lion,
Take confidence in knowing that they are there,
They cover the Earth with charity and compassion,
For every single human, the Lions will always show care.
